    A rich old Speyside, this ancient Tamdhu offers lots of what you’d expect: dense at first nosing but swiftly opening up to low dried fruits and a slab of spice with sweet butter-caramel edges. Vanilla and a touch of wax introduce themselves on the tongue alongside honey, vanilla and quiet pepper. Wood and sweet fruit see us out into a long and classy finish.
