An old, discontinued bottling of Glen Garioch 12 year old, distilled before the distillery was mothballed in 1995. When the distillery re-opened in 1997 it used only unpeated malt. Earlier the malt was peated with a specification of 8-10ppm. Hence the presence of smoky notes.
