This Ardbeg Supernova has been hugely popular ever since its release, by the Advance Committee, sold out almost instantly in January 2009. This is considered to be one of the peatiest expressions that Islay’s Ardbeg Distillery has ever released, at over 100ppm. Its popularity is reflected by it going on to win: Whisky Bible 2010 'Scotch Whisky of the Year' and 'Second Finest Whisky in the World' at 97 points.
