Nose
Sweet aromas of pineapple, marmalade, and ginger unfold, layered with hints of dry wood, pastries, and sage. Honey, vanilla, and caramel candy add a soft grain sweetness, while notes of citrus fruits, banana, and light leather create balance. Aged complexity brings subtle dusty tobacco and a floral undertone.
Palate
Rich and intense, with creamy honeyed sweetness evolving into bold spices, spearmint, and yellow plums. White chocolate, vanilla, and citrus fruits dominate, with hints of passionfruit adding a tropical edge. The thick, oily mouthfeel is complemented by a touch of mustiness and leather.
Finish
The finish is slightly dry, balanced by ripe apricots, almonds, and a dusting of icing sugar. Lingering notes of wood and light tobacco enhance the rewarding complexity of this aged grain whisky.
Overall
A beautifully balanced old grain whisky with exceptional depth and harmony. The rich sweetness and layered flavours make it a standout dram, and arguably one of the finest examples of Cameronbridge whisky. A true delight for connoisseurs.
