Tasting Notes

Nose
Deliciously sweet malt and sherry come through strongly, with hints of smoke, rich figs, and dates. There’s also a touch of nuts, dark chocolate, and a hint of oak. As expected from Springbank, a complex and fabulously fragrant nose.

Palate
Starts off smooth, then you get a bit of spiced heat. This gives way to flavours of chocolate, honey, and sherry, with hints of pear and orange. Baking spices, black pepper, and vanilla oak round it out nicely.

Body
Rich and full, with the sherry adding a deep, satisfying feel.

Finish
Long and warming, with sweet spices lingering. The spice fades into notes of tobacco leaf and dry oak.

Overall
An epic Springbank, in classic Springbank style, ready to be bottled and enjoyed.
